Formline

The Hommel-Etamic F50 measuring system is ideal for measuring the roundness of your workpieces. The compact table-top unit is extremely robust and durable, making it suitable for even the harshest industrial production environments. The air bearing of the C axis is wear-free, thus ensuring consistently high measuring accuracy. As a result, the measuring instrument enables high-precision quality control of your components at all times.

The roundness measurement system is extremely user-friendly and very easy to operate. To document the quality of your production output, you can create professional print forms at the end of the measurement run.

The Hommel-Etamic F135 and F155 form measuring instruments are ideal for checking the roundness and cylindricity of precision parts. To allow continuous documentation of the quality of your production output, you can create professional print forms. Depending on the workpiece length, you can choose between two different models: F135 (measuring height: 350 mm) and F155 (measuring height: 550 mm).

Different probe arms enable flexible deployment of the systems for a wide range of measuring tasks. The probe arms are magnetically connected to the form measuring instrument, thus preventing any collision of the probe while also permitting quick and simple replacement of the probe arms. For variable probing positions, you can use the FS1 tilt arm.

Using the F435 and F455 form measuring instruments, you can accurately determine the roundness, cylindricity and flatness of your workpieces. The measuring system aligns the components automatically and checks the form and position tolerances using three CNC-controlled measuring axes. The level of effort required is thus much lower than with conventional devices. The software enables intuitive operation of your measuring system.

The probe arm is connected magnetically so that you can replace it quickly and easily. This connection also protects the probe and probe arm against impact damage. With the new FT1.1 probe generation, you can measure not only the form but also the twist and roughness in a single cycle, thus saving you both time and money.

The optional motorized rotation and tilt module (MDS) provides access to even the most inaccessible probing positions without interrupting the CNC run. The form measuring instruments are supplied either as compact table-top units or integrated in an ergonomic measuring station.
